1959 Buick LeSabre

This is my latest project a 1959 Buick LeSabre. I promised myself I wouldn’t restore any more cars but that only lasted about 2 months. This is the cheapest Buick you could buy in 1959 a model #4411 power nothing with rubber floor mat. The car is complete with minimal body rot, which is very hard to find on these cars. Wish me luck!

Love those fins and the angled headlamps! My granddad had one and as a young boy I remember Sunday drives with in it (silver with a red interior!). My favorite memory is that it had an alarm on the speedo you would set to keep you from exceeding the posted speed limit.....when it started buzzing he would simply reach down and turn the knob to set the alarm to a higher speed!

I also have a 1959 Buick LeSabre 2 door hardtop that is in reasonable shape. Could you put me in touch with the owner of this one so I can talk with him about parts that I need??

Hang in there and see it through, it will be a beauty when done.

My dad had one about 64 to 65. Convertible, fire engine red, white top, two tone interior red and white. Loved it! I was about 10 at the time. My favorite thing was the speedometer arrow moving left and right. Awesome car. Good luck.

God speed my friend. Never stop restoring cars. Think of it as preserving our automobile history!
