During 1973 I purchased a 1966 Chevelle SS, many years later in 2016, I decided it was time to freshen the car up and to have a frame-off restoration of the Chevelle and rebuild the 396 engine.
Some 60k later it was completed basically everything was replaced on frame and body although the car is beautiful, I don’t think I would spend that kind of money again. Had somebody interested to buy it for 45 K, I said when he gets to 60k I would think about it, but would probably not sell it even at that price. It’s just too fun to drive.
