The only new car my father ever bought was a 75 s3, which happened to be the year I was born. His was this blue color. He sold it in the mid 80s. The kid he sold it to wrecked it in less than 6 months. Broke my heart.

My grandfather had this exact car, he sold it to a man in Indianapolis, Indiana back in about 1983. That owner was in an accident and the front fender was damaged. It was never seen again. Just wondering if this is that car?

Really nice you provided a chart. I know it sounds a little to simple but with some of the people just getting their feet wet with this stuff I would humbly include that the size of the bolt is the shaft size not the head size. Super advise you gave.

I have never owned or known anyone to own one of these. But a great little work of engineering. I’m pretty sure it would be difficult to use this as a pursuit car. But you have a real gem on your hands. I used to drive 2 old VW’s Beetle & Karmann-Ghia with about the same horsepower.

I have always liked all the 1950’s / 1960’s GM’s. My older brother had a great 1957 Pontiac Chieftan with the big motor. It also had installed a hydro-matic 4 speed transmission that was great. I had a ’57 Chevy BelAir w/283-4barrel & power-glide 2 speed.
