I have a similar engine setup but I used Venoli pistons with a 13:1 compression. MSD box with a variable timing. Not as pretty as yours but I could beat most V8 conversions.

I’ve got a 19151 Ford 2dr. Custom Delux with a stock rebuilt ’53 Mercury motor. Too bad we are so far away I would like to get to meet with you. I live in Georgia.

I used to have a business in the UK. We restored, serviced, raced “B’s” and race prepped for other customers back in the 80’s. We converted an 79 rubber bumper into a chrome bumper for a customer and did what you did and lowered it. I used to win so many concur, that they banned it – because it was a conversion. I love what you did with the B. Great to see. Enjoy a fun car.
