Older cars have all kinds of unique sounds due to the tech of the time. Just like new cars have unique sounds. Fuel sloshing is very normal from ANY gasoline vehicle. Even the new ones but newer tank designs do try to reduce it. As said, you hear it more due to the tank being part of the trunk floor.
I HAVE A 67 MUSTANG289. I WOULD LIKE TO START TO REMOVE PART BY PART AND HAVE THEM CHROMED AND THEN REPLACE THE ONE AT A TIME IS THIS DOABLE
Now heres a problem I wish I had !! my pony is allways near empty when I put it away for the day !! no fuel sloshing about in there !! and when its running !! well its not fuel sloshing one can hear but fuel being used that I hear !!
