For years the automakers were focused on making cars go faster with more horsepower. But it wasn’t until the 1960s before their attention turned toward building safer cars that stopped well too. For this reason brake system upgrades are the most popular improvements for Classic Cars enthusiasts who strive for safer and more reliable braking in their classics. In this video set we set out to improve the brakes on a classic American muscle car that over the years upgraded it’s power to over 600 Horsepower, and left its brakes in the 60s. Then we’ll tackle a 50s MoPar project with an ingenious electric braking solution.
