I recently picked up a 1972 MG Midget. I was looking to restore the car, although my budget for this project is around $5000. This little MG fit the bill as the body is in excellent shape for a 48-year-old car. Yes, it has a little rust on the trunk lid and lower rocker panel right side, but nothing I can’t handle. I will be doing all the restoration myself, except for the paint. There are just some things better left to the pros I will leave to the pros.

I am in a similar position. I bought a 1972 MG Midget that has been sitting in storage for 28+ years, mostly disassembled. I have the bodywork about completed and painted. I am now starting the process of putting it all back together. I have a nice little shop with a lift and many tools. Need advice and how-to videos and tips. Thanks Dennis Gates
