Left my Riv. warming up at a high idle, when I got to her to kick the idol down the area by the catalytic converter was extremely hot. So much, it was melting the under coating. I drove it around to help cool it off and left it out side to cool the rest of the way. It's been a long time since I've had any vehicle from the 70's era, I'm thinking it might be time for a new Catalytic converter, any suggestions?
This is my preferred car since I first saw it Rimini, Italy way back in1966. It was a gold colour normal model Mustang. Today in my home country I still see quite a few of different colours running about on Sunday mornings.
My 51 Lincoln has been upgraded to 12 volt and power steering garage kept have all original paper workmate all original rims and white wall tires repainted month ago . Car is for sale..
My recently restored 1973 Porsche 914. This project began in 1982 with the purchase of a complete rust bucket. I eventually came to the realization that saving that car was beyond my abilities. In 1989 I purchased a much better chassis and another parts car. I made progress for about a year, rebuilding the engine from the original rust bucket and making repairs to the new better chassis. Then I got married , changed jobs and life got in the way. In Nov. 2023 I decided to get this done.
Started a restoration about 2015. This is the fourth paint job including the original. That was Dark Metallic green. This color is dark Pearl green.
I'm not quite as old as this truck, but I'm close.
This was a twenty year project off frame. I am very pleased to show my ride Thanks for looking.
Had this car since 1963, my high school ride, finally had it finished this past September!
