My recently restored 1973 Porsche 914. This project began in 1982 with the purchase of a complete rust bucket. I eventually came to the realization that saving that car was beyond my abilities. In 1989 I purchased a much better chassis and another parts car. I made progress for about a year, rebuilding the engine from the original rust bucket and making repairs to the new better chassis. Then I got married , changed jobs and life got in the way. In Nov. 2023 I decided to get this done.

I put 10k US miles on my TC5168 after cutting it loose from a lilac bush in Michigan. Now it’s with a friend in Wellington New Zealand. I put more miles on it last February. There it will live a long and happy life! It has better tyres, steering and brakes. www.enjoyclassiccars.com
