Brent Ackley suggests using a windshield removal tool for windshield molding clips if your project includes removing molding that you intend to keep. He demonstrates how the tool is used. It’s quick and easy and there is no damage to the molding using this tool.
Is this only for windshield molding?
Yes, this tool is only used to release the molding clips to remove the trim.
To remove the windshield on cars of this vintage, they need to be cut out to release them from the sealant.

This is really uplitfing *sigh* I dont like that I have this problem and I try to keep things in perspective because I know the world doesn’t revovle around myself but at times I just get the feeling that everyone is looking at me and judging me for my every mistake, it makes it hard to even interact with people without being even in the least anxious. i hear you buddy, there are times when you are working on your vintage car and you’re trying to do things such as removing windshield mouldings and if you don’t have the right tool, you end up looking at the sky when you bend or damage something….cool tool!
